Huawei Technologies will reportedly acquire 16.5 per cent of Massachusetts-based 3Com Corporation

Huawei Technologies will reportedly acquire 16.5 per cent of Massachusetts-based 3Com Corporation. Bain Capital will acquire the remaining 83.5 per cent stake. The combined value of 3Com is estimated to be $2.2 billion. The move will enable Huawei to expand in the US by tapping 3Com’s distribution network.
