Huawei has posted its financial results for 2013. For the full year, the equipment manufacturer has reported a profit of $3.38 billion.
Further, the company?s revenue increased by 8.5 per cent and stood at $38.49 billion. Huawei?s sales from the carrier network business witnessed a growth of 4 per cent to reach $26.81 billion in 2013. Its enterprise revenue increased by 32.4 per cent to $2.45 billion and the consumer business grew by 17.8 per cent to reach $9.18 billion.
For the period under review, Huawei earned 65 per cent of its revenue from markets outside China. In comparison, the company?s revenue in China grew by 14.2 per cent. In 2013, Huawei invested $5.06 billion in research and development.
