According to Infonetics Research, Huawei led the service provider VoIP and IMS equipment market in the second quarter of 2013. It was followed by Alcatel-Lucent and Genband.
Other leading companies in this space included Nokia Solutions and Networks and Acme Packet.
Meanwhile, the research firm estimates that the global service provider VoIP and IMS equipment market registered a 30 per cent sequential increase to $936 million in the period under consideration.
This growth was driven by the North America, Europe, Middle East, Africa, Asia Pacific and Latin America markets. Of this, the North American market witnessed a 78 per cent year-on-year increase in the period under consideration.
