Huawei has been contracted to expand South Africa-based Neotel’s CDMA network.

Huawei has been contracted to expand South Africa-based Neotel’s CDMA network. As per the contract, Huawei will provide a fourth generation base transceiver station (BTS) which can support the current EV-DO Rev A data service and also ensure future evolution to EV-DO Rev B or technologies such as long term evolution (LTE).
