Huawei and Vodafone Global Enterprise have formed a strategic alliance to focus on enterprise market in Europe, Asia Pacific and Africa.
Under the alliance, both the organisations will work together on the development of a wide array of enterprise communications and technology services for global enterprise customers. The specific areas of cooperation will initially include the use of Huawei?s fixed and mobile connectivity bonding technology for new products, investigating the opportunities for in-building coverage solutions, the development of new machine-to-machine module designs, and developing solutions regarding safe city, internet of things, and cloud data centres.
The new strategic alliance builds on the existing partnership between Vodafone and Huawei Global Enterprise, where the companies have cooperated in infrastructure and devices development, and collaborated in joint innovations in enterprise technology. In the past, both the companies have worked closely in a number of areas to deliver an innovative branch enablement project in Asia, and hosting and cloud solution in South Africa.
