According to Infonetics Research, Huawei, Alcatel-Lucent and ZTE led the optical network hardware market, including the WDM and SONET/SDH equipment spaces in the second quarter of 2013, say news reports.
The firm adds that the optical network hardware market was valued at $3.3 billion in the period under consideration. Overall spending in this space increased by 27 per cent quarter-over-quarter and the WDM equipment segment registered a 21 per cent year-over-year increase.
