
Hutchison Telecommunications International Limited has announced H it will buy a 60 per cent stake in Indonesian mobile telecommunications carrier PT Cyber Access Communications, marking its expansion into Indonesia. The Hong Kong telecom firm, a unit of Hutchison Whampoa Limited, will pay the Charoen Pokphand (CP) Group Indonesia $120 million for the stake. The CP Group will hold the remaining 40 per cent interest in Cyber Access.
Cyber Access holds licences for nationwide operations of secondgeneration and third-generation mobile services in Indonesia.
