
HTC Corporation has launched Desire 820, Desire 820q and Desire 816G smartphones in India. HTC Desire 820 is a dual-SIM card smartphone with a 5.5-inch display and screen resolution of 720×1280 pixels. The phone is powered by 64-bit octa core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor and has 2 GB of RAM, along with 16 GB ROM. The memory can be further expanded up to 128 GB through a microSD card.
It features a 13 megapixel rear camera with an ability to capture 1080 pixel video and an 8 megapixel secondary camera. The phone also has options like Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, LTE and GPS connectivity options.
Along with the same hardware specifications as Desire 820, Desire 820q is powered by 1.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 quad core processor and runs on Android 4.4 KitKat operating system.
The Desire 816G is a GSM-only dual-SIM card version of Desire 816 smartphone. The phone features a 5.5-inch display with a resolution of 720×1280 pixels and is powered by 1.3 GHz quad core MediaTek processor. Desire 816G includes 1GB of RAM and 8 GB of internal storage, which is further expandable through a microSD card.
It features a 13 megapixel rear camera and a 5 megapixel secondary camera. The phone will be available at a price of Rs 18,990.
