Hong Kong’s PCCW has contracted Huawei Technologies to deploy its first CDMA2000 1X/1xEV-DO Rev. A network. According to the agreement, Huawei will provide its fourth-generation CDMA base transceiver station (BTS) solution to help PCCW construct a CDMA2000 1xEV-DO Rev. A network. The fourth-generation BTS features multi-standard convergence, high integration, allIP, energy conservation and environmental protection, and meets PCCW’s business needs.
