HMD Global has appointed Stephen Taylor as chief marketing officer (CMO).  At HMD Global, which is the manufacturer of Nokia handsets, Taylor will be responsible for the marketing strategy and execution for the entire portfolio of Nokia phones.

In his new role, Taylor will be reporting to Florian Seiche, chief executive officer (CEO) HMD Global.

Prior to his appointment at HMD Global, Taylor was CEO, EMEA at PayPal and was credited for revamping the company’s digital marketing capabilities. Furthermore, as the CMO, Europe at Samsung Electronics, he was credited for leading the brand’s transformation.
