Hitachi Limited has made a few key changes in its top management. Effective April 1, 2014, Hiroaki Nakanishi who currently serves as director, representative executive officer and president as a director on the company?s board. Another key personnel Toshiaki Higashihara currently serving as senior-vice-president and executive officer, in charge of Medical Systems Business, president and chief executive officer of Infrastructure Systems Group and Infrastructure Systems Company will be recommended to be inducted as a director on Hitachi Limited?s board of directors.
Takashi Kawamura will resign as chairman of the board on March 31, 2014, and will be appointed as a chairman emeritus after retiring from the position of director at the close of the Hitachi?s Ordinary General Meeting of Shareholders in June 2014.
