
Himachal Futuristic Communications Limited’s (HFCL) wholly owned subsidiary HFCL Infotel has rolled out CDMA services in Punjab and Chandigarh under the brand name Ping. The company is expecting to add 300,000 customers by March 2008. The new service, in which the company has invested Rs 1 billion, is available in 150 towns and 5,000 villages. With this, HFCL Infotel has become the third CDMA player and the seventh mobile service provider in the Punjab circle.
