HFCL Limited has announced its new order win worth Rs 2.21 billion for providing 700 Mbps and 1 Gbps point-to-point unlicensed band radios (UBRs) and optical fibre cables (OFC).

As part of the purchase order, HFCL will be supplying 700 Mbps and 1 Gbps UBRs to Reliance Jio Infocomm Limited. The UBRs order worth Rs 427.1 million has to be executed by July 2023. Operating within the unlicensed 5 GHz spectrum, these UBRs achieve a maximum throughput of up to 1 Gbps, making them ideal for high-capacity enterprise applications and use cases such as smart cities and critical infrastructure, including electricity distribution grids and power plants. These feature-rich, enterprise/ carrier-grade products also provide a very high return on investment (ROI) for internet service providers (ISPs) and telecom service providers (TSPs).

Additionally, HFCL will be offering various types of optical fibre cables worth Rs.1.79 billion to Reliance Projects & Property Management Services Limited by October 2023. HFCL aims to utilise its advanced telecom products and solutions in contributing significantly to India’s digital transformation journey.
