HFCL, a basic service provider in Punjab, will start offering H voice, broadcasting and data services in the circle from July 2005. The company has embarked on an expansion plan envisaging an investment of Rs 2.5 billion. It has laid fibre in almost all the towns of the state and will be adding mobility services later in the year.
