Dixon Technologies is reportedly expected to receive Press Note 3 (PN3) approval soon for its two Indo-Chinese joint ventures, one with Vivo for smartphones and another with HKC Corp., for displays.
Further, Micromax-owned Bhagwati Products has also sought PN3 approval for two projects under the component Product Linked Incentive (PLI) scheme. Uno Minda is likewise awaiting PN3 clearance, and both companies are optimistic about receiving approval soon.
The government is said to be more receptive to PN3 filings and is expected to prioritise applicants under Electronics Component Manufacturing Scheme, aiming to issue most approvals by November-December 2025.
