Google seeks US government’s permission to collaborate with Huawei

As per industry sources, Google has applied for a license seeking the US government’s permission to work with Huawei.

Earlier in 2019, the US government had placed Huawei on its Entity List due to security concerns.

Following this, all the US companies, including Google, were banned from working with Huawei. As a consequence, Google was not able to provide its services to users of Huawei devices.
