Google Pay is planning to work on a compliance mechanism for meeting the requirements of upcoming data localisation in the country.
The services provided by the company to the individuals and businesses will continue to be offered free of cost.
As per Google pay, the company has clocked over 1 billion transactions in October 2019. The number of monthly active users has trippled from 22 million to 67 million during September 2018-19.
