Goldstone Technologies Limited, a Hyderabad-based software solutions and IPTV provider, has tied up with BSNL to offer its IPTV services. The company launched 100-odd IPTVs in Hyderabad and Secunderabad on March 26, 2008 and is planning to cover over 1,000 households in the two cities by May 2008. Further, it is targeting close to 70,000 subscriptions by March 2009, before launching IPTV services in 94 cities across the country by the end of 2009-10. Goldstone Technologies has thus far invested close to $8 million for its IPTV initiative, both in India and abroad. It has also approached MTNL for a possible tie-up and is awaiting a letter of intent from the latter.
