The Central Bureau of Investigation has opposed the bail pleas of Sanjay Chandra, managing director, Unitech Wireless and Vinod Goenka, director, Swan Telecom.
Additional Solicitor General Haren Raval submitted before a bench headed by Justice G S Singhvi that they should not be released on bail and that the case was at the stage of framing of charges.
The CBI also said that if granted bail, Chandra and Goenka were likely to manipulate evidence and influence witnesses in the 2G spectrum case.
