Gionee plans to launch Elife S5.5 smartphone in India on March 30, 2014.
Earlier, the handset manufacturer had unveiled the smartphone at Mobile World Congress, 2014, in Barcelona, Spain.
The Elife S5.5 has a 5 inch screen and is powered by a 1.7GHz true octa-core processor. The smartphone functions on the Android-based Amigo operating system and packs in 2 GB of RAM and dual cameras (a 13 megapixel and a 5 megapixel front-facing camera.)
The Elife S5.5 is priced at Rs 23,000
