GIONEE has launched the ELIFE E7 smartphone, which comes equipped with the Android-based AMIGO 2.0 operating system, a 5.5 inch LTPS display and a 2.2GHz quad-core processor.

Other features include the Cortex-A7 main CPU, dual cameras (a 16 megapixel and an 8 megapixel camera) and 16 GB and 32 GB memory.
Commenting on the launch, William Lu, president, GIONEE said, ?ELIFE E7 is the world’s first smartphone equipped with a professional image sensor for digital camera. It is also the world?s first 16 megapixel rear camera and 8 megapixel front camera smartphone phone equipped with the QUALCOMM snapdragon S800 chipset.?
The device will be available in China from December 5, 2013 onwards and is expected to be available overseas in early 2014.
