France Telecom has received approval from DoT to launch NLD and ILD operations in India. France Telecom’s licences in India will be held through its wholly owned subsidiary, Orange Business Services, which plans to deploy network technologies such as asynchronous transfer mode, frame relay and multi-protocol label switching IP virtual private network.
