France Telecom has emerged as the winner in the bidding process for a 51 per cent stake in Ghana Telecom.

France Telecom has emerged as the winner in the bidding process for a 51 per cent stake in Ghana Telecom. According to sources, France Telecom’s bid was in the range of $500 million to $600 million. In all, 20 foreign investors expressed interest in picking up stake in Ghana Telecom. The remaining 49 per cent stake will be offered to the public by the Government of Ghana.
