EXFO has announced the launch of the LTB-8 Rackmount lab solution, the FTBx-88200NGE Power Blazer 100G Multiservice Test Module, and the industry’s unique web-based multi-user interface, EXFO Multilink.
LTB-8 is a highly scalable and compact platform offering the industry’s best 100G port density to maximise valuable shelf space while minimising costs. It helps network solution vendors (NSVs) to innovate faster and test more efficiently. The eight-slot configuration supports the simultaneous testing of eight 100G modules enabling multiple interface test combinations. The platform delivers a full suite of lab testing features developed for system design, development and deployment testing. The LTB-8 remote access is supported by the EXFO Multilink. The latter is a unique lab test management system with a multi-user interface that offers remote access across multiple locations. It is the only true web-based interface that enables this capability.
EXFO has also added a new solution to its Power Blazer family, the FTBx-88200NGE. According to the company, it is the industry’s first solution offering integrated CFP4 and QSFP+/QSFP28 interfaces in alignment with next-generation 100G network deployment along with an SFP+ port. It builds on EXFO’s expertise as the first in the industry to offer the most compact 10M-to-100G modules in the market today. The FTBx-88200NGE Power Blazer module offers a full suite of advanced test functionalities to accelerate product development and verification, including multi-stage optical data unit multiplexing, multichannel optical transport network and advanced troubleshooting capabilities.
Furthermore, the newly launched FTBx-88200NGE Power Blazer can be uniquely moved from the LTB-8 Rackmount Platform into EXFO’s hand-held portable FTB-2 Pro Platform for ease of transition within the lab, between labs and from the lab to the field. With this unique pairing of platforms, NSVs can reap cost savings by using the same modules in one lab environment to another and with a common graphical user interface, minimising training between multiple users. Further, flexibility is offered via EXFO’s test function virtualisation and FTB on-demand time-based licences. These flexible software options allow greater flexibility and agility for time-sensitive projects.
