Excitel Broadband Pvt Ltd has released its financial results for quarter and year ended March 31, 2025. The company’s revenue from operations increased to Rs 1.13 billion in fourth quarter (Q4) of 2024-25 from Rs 1.06 billion in Q4 2023-24, showing a 7 per cent increase year-on-year (YoY). Meanwhile, the revenue from operations for the whole year increased to Rs 4.89 billion as compared to Rs 4.81 billion in 2023-24.
Company’s total income stood increased to Rs 1.16 billion against Rs 1.08 billion for the reported quarter period. Further, the total yearly income increased 2.6 per cent YoY, to Rs 4.99 billion from Rs 4.86 billion in 2023-24. Further, the expenses increased to Rs 1.39 billion from Rs 1.27 billion for the reported quarter period. The company’s yearly expenses stood at Rs 5.79 billion against Rs 5.20 billion in 2023-24.
Furthermore, the net loss decreased to Rs 610 million for Q4 2024-25 while the net loss in the corresponding quarter last year was Rs 300 million. Yearly net loss increased to Rs 2.12 billion from Rs 1.20 billion in 2023-24.
In addition, the company is on an expansion mode and has recently launched its Internet Protocol Television (IPTV) offering. It aims to transform the internet and TV channel subscription market with bouquet of channels at low prices while its over-the-top (OTT) packages come bundled with other kinds of advantages for the subscribers. The IPTV offering is a revolutionary offering and the company aims to onboard 1 million subscribers for its IPTV offering in the next two years.
The company has so far come up with three IPTV plans. The basic plan costs Rs 654 a month which offers unlimited internet with up to 200 Mbps speed along with access to 27 premium cable TV channels such as Colors, Discovery, Cartoon Network, and over 200 plus free to air channels. The second most expensive plan costs Rs 704 a month with unlimited internet access (up to 250 Mbps) with 31 different OTT subscriptions, including Disney+ Hotstar, Zee5, Alt Balaji, and more. The most premium plan from Excitel IPTV offers benefits from both plans (31 OTT subscriptions, 36 premium cable TV channels, and 229 plus free-to-air TV channels, along with unlimited internet access with up to 300Mbps speed.
