EVI Technologies (EVIT) and Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) have signed a pact to set up battery swapping and charging stations.
Under the 10-year MoU, EVIT would install charging infrastructure at 5,000 locations of BSNL across the country, covering major cities.
Further, the entire upfront investment will be made by EVIT on the services pertaining to the MoU. It will also look after the operation and maintenance of battery swapping infrastructure.
On the other hand, BSNL would be providing the required space and power connections for installing the battery swapping infrastructure.
