Etisalat has raised its stake in Ivory Coast-based Atlantic Telecom to 100 per cent after acquiring the remaining 18 per cent for $75 million.
Etisalat operates Atlantic Telecom by virtue of a 10-year management contract ending in April 2015. Atlantic Telecom holds majority shares in seven telecommunications organisations in the Ivory Coast, Benin, Burkina Faso, Gabon, Niger, Togo and the Central African Republic. L
