
Ericsson has signed a contract with Bhutan Telecom under which it will build the latter’s mobile broadband network. Ericsson will supply and design Bhutan Telecom’s WCDMA/HSPA network, and will also be in charge of integrating the company’s existing mobile communications network. The value of the agreement has not been disclosed. Ericsson has also won an HSPA network order from Sweden’s Svenska UMTS Naet, which is jointly owned by TeliaSonera and Tele2. The financial details of the deal have not been disclosed.
