Huawei Technologies has identified enterprise business as one of the fastest growing business segment for the company.

The telecom equipment manufacturer is looking at increasing the contribution of enterprise business revenue to the company?s total revenue from 5 per cent in 2012 to 15 per cent by 2017. Further, Huawei Technologies aims to double its total revenues to $70 billion by 2017 from $35 billion in 2012.

Going forward, Huawei Technologies expects that the revenue contribution of the telecom network equipment business to the company?s total revenue will decline from 75 per cent in 2012 to 55 per cent by 2017. However, it expects the revenue share of consumer business group to increase from 20 per cent in 2012 to 40 per cent in 2017.

In 2012, about 70 per cent of the company?s total revenue came from countries other than China, including $1 billion from India.
