The EMC Corporation, a developer and provider of information infrastructure technology, has appointed Niranjan Thirumale as chief technology officer (CTO) of the EMC India Center of Excellence. Thirumale will also become a member of EMC?s CTO council. He was previously working with NetApp, where he was a founding member and technical leader of the company?s Advanced Technology Group. He also worked with IBM in the US for over eight years.
