According to the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), electronics has become the country’s fifth largest export commodity, growing by 23 per cent annually.
Further, India’s electronics manufacturing sector has surpassed the $100 billion mark as of March 2024, a significant increase from the previously estimated $49 billion in 2017.
Additionally, in 2023, the country achieved $30 billion in exports from its electronics manufacturing industry.
