Eaton has appointed Syed Sajjadh Ali as managing director, India, electrical sector, Asia Pacific.
In this capacity, he will be responsible for leading the electrical sector organisation in India. This will include managing the activities for power distribution, power quality, Bussmann, and power systems in India, including operations, sales, finance, and human resources functions of the business in the country.
Prior to this, Ali served as managing director of Cooper Bussman, India, which was acquired by Eaton in November 2012.
Ali brings to the table over thirty years of experience in the electrical industry. Prior to joining Cooper, he held leadership roles in GE, Alstom, GEC and English Electric in India.
