EarthLink, the US internet service provider, and SK Telecom, the leading South Korean mobile carrier, have formed a $440 mil lion joint venture to offer mobile services in the US.

EarthLink, the US internet service provider, and SK Telecom, the E leading South Korean mobile carrier, have formed a $440 million joint venture to offer mobile services in the US. Earth Link and SK Telecom will each contribute $220 million to the joint venture over the next three years. The joint venture, named SK-Earth Link, plans to launch services by October 2005.
