The Department of Telecommunications (DoT) will release the performance bank guarantees of Loop Telecom, Spice Communications Videocon Telecom and Unitech Wireless for the Delhi circle. DoT has decided to release the bank guarantees since these companies were not allocated spectrum, due to which they were not able to roll out network and services, and subsequently, their licenses were cancelled in the 2G case by the Supreme Court in 2012.
