DoT to reassess AGR dues basis the document submitted by telcos

The Department of Telecommunications (DoT) will do a reassessment of the adjusted gross revenue (AGR) dues on the basis of documents submitted by telcos on self-assessed AGR dues as per licence agreement.

Subsequently, DoT will issue revised demand notices to the telcos.

The government has said that the telecom service providers (TSPs) have been directed to make payments on the basis of self assessment and submit requisite documents for compliance.
