The Department of Telecommunications (DoT) has sought more time from a Delhi court for filing its reply on a petition filed by Loop Telecom seeking directions for referring the 2G matter to Lok Adalat for settlement.
DoT, which was scheduled to file its reply on February 20, 2014, stated that the department was in the process of preparing its response to the plea in which Loop Telecom had stated that the offences alleged against it are compoundable.
The court has asked DoT to file its response on the matter by March 14, 2014.
