DoT panel to meet soon to take a decision on spectrum pricing

The Digital Communications Committee (DCC) will soon take a call on reserve prices of airwaves to be put up for sale in the upcoming auction.

The Department of Telecommunications (DoT) may hold spectrum auctions latest by January 2020, and will take a call on the reserve prices in the interim.

The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) has recommended a reserve price of over Rs 5.7 trillion. The government is however, yet to take a call on this price level.
