DoT likely to issue guidelines on implementation of PLI scheme in telecom sector within a week

The Department of Telecommunications (DoT) is likely to issue guidelines on the implementation of production-linked incentive (PLI) schemes for manufacturers in the telecom sector soon.

According to industry sources, the department is reportedly expected to start inviting applications for the same in about a week.

The guidelines are likely to be published on the DoT website within a week.
