Padget Electronics, a subsidiary of Dixon Technologies, has entered into a partnership with HMD global to manufacture Nokia smartphones at its plant in Noida, Uttar Pradesh.
Recently, the company had also entered into an agreement to manufacture smartphones for phone brand Motorola.
Padget Electronics is one of the five Indian companies which will be receiving incentives for incremental production of mobile phone handsets under the Centre’s production-linked incentive (PLI) scheme.
