DigiVive and Videocon Mobiles have announced a strategic partnership, wherein the former would offer its mobile TV service, nexGTv, to the operator’s subscribers.
As part of the partnership, the Videocon VT 71 and the Videocon VT 10 devices will feature nexGTv as an embedded application. The facility will enable users to access over 100 television channels on their handsets.
Commenting on the partnership, G. D. Singh, director, DigiVive says, “The tie-up with Videocon Mobiles is another step towards our objective of ‘massification of entertainment’ as this will open new avenues for reaching out to many potential users. With nexGTv expanding its reach, now more and more users can enjoy what we like to call, their ‘personal DTH’. With this tie-up, we plan to increase our subscriber base substantially.”
