The Digital India Bill which will govern emerging technologies like artificial intelligence (AI) and quantum computing, is likely to be opened for public consultation within the next 15 days.
The proposed regulations will include provisions for requiring companies to inform consumers how their data is being processed. The daft received fresh consultation feedback from the experts during the government’s outreach on the proposed act which started in March 2023 across various cities.
