Deloitte India has announced an expansion of its partnership with Google Cloud to offer artificial intelligence (AI)-powered cybersecurity solutions. The collaboration will enable clients to design and operate modern security operations centres (SOCs), migrate legacy infrastructure to the cloud, and adopt security-as-a-service models to modernise their cybersecurity posture.
Further, the solutions are aimed at improving threat detection and response capabilities, ensuring compliance with data protection requirements, and allowing organisations to manage security operations without the need to maintain large in-house SOC teams.
Meanwhile, the partnership will also support organisations in aligning technology deployments with regulatory expectations, spanning compliance and policy requirements for security observability, threat monitoring and incident management. It will help address key regulatory frameworks issued by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (IRDAI), the Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDPA), and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), ensuring compliance with both domestic and global data protection standards.
