The Delhi High Court has directed TTSL to pay 50 per cent of the Rs 9.5 million demanded by BSNL for providing interconnecti vity to TTSL’s limited mobility “Walky” service. The company has been directed to pay this amount within four weeks and has been told that the same principle will apply to the rest of the bills raised by BSNL. TTSL had earlier filed a petition seeking to restrain BSNL from taking coercive action. BSNL had threatened to disconnect TTSL’s points of interconnection with it and to encash its bank guarantee. Both parties still have the option of approaching TDSAT.
