Delhi High Court directs DoT to clear outstanding dues and salaries of BSNL, MTNL officers by December 5

The Delhi High Court has recently directed the Department of Telecommunications (DoT) for clearance of salaries and dues to more than 500 officers of the Indian Telecommunication Services (ITS) working in Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) and Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Limited (MTNL) by December 5, 2019.

The total outgo including arrears and wages for October and November 2019 is expected to come at around Rs 600 million.

The next hearing has been fixed for December 13, 2019.
