Gionee has announced that David Chang, its global sales director, will now lead the company’s India operations. The announcement comes at a time when Gionee is strengthening its presence in the country. Chang will lead the company’s next phase of growth in India, wherein he will drive the overall operations and reinforce the brand positioning with emphasis on retail expansion, sales volumes and after sales. Chang has 13 years of industry experience and has been associated with Gionee for over a decade. In his previous role, he was responsible for driving the company’s global sales.
