Cyient’s executive chairman B V R Mohan Reddy steps down; M M Murugappan appointed as non-executive chairman

Cyient’s founder and executive chairman, B V R Mohan Reddy, has stepped down from the executive role.

Following this, M M Murugappan has been appointed as the non-executive chairman of the company. Murugappan has been on the Cyient’s board as an independent director since 1997.

However, Reddy will continue to be a part of the board as a non-executive director and will play an active role in mentoring and guiding the Cyient leadership team. Earlier, he was the chairman of NASSCOM and president of Hyderabad Software Exporters Association (HYSEA).
