The Common Service Centre (CSC) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with RailTel to launch UPI-based service CSCPay and a teleconsultation service on Whatsapp.

Further, the partnership entails increasing broadband penetration in rural and semi-urban areas for bridging the digital divide. Under the MoU, digital kiosks established by RailTel at rural/semi-urban railway stations will be operated by village level entrepreneurs at CSC for the e-enablement of citizens and spreading awareness about RailWire services.

Moreover, CSC special purpose vehicle (SPV) has launched a dedicated helpline on Whatsapp called the ‘CSC Health Services Helpdesk’ aimed at people living in rural and remote parts of India. The helpdesk makes it easy for people to seek support from administration, consult with doctors, access a wide range of Covid related resources and get their queries addressed.
