Common Service Centre (CSC) has signed an MoU with Paytm Payments Bank Limited (PPBL) for the sale of PPBL FASTags across the country. These will be sold through the last-mile network of 360,000 CSC outlets.
Under the MoU, CSC will be integrating its platform with Paytm Payments Bank to carry the transactions. Further as per CSC, Village Level Entrepreneurs (VLEs) will be trained to conduct paperless and cashless sales.
In September 2017, CSC started selling FASTags, after partnering Equitas Bank. So far, Rs 740 million worth FASTag top-ups with around 284,000 FASTags have been sold by CSCs across the country.
