A special court has asked the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) to provide the certified copy of a file pertaining to the 2G spectrum case to Dr Subramanium Swamy, president, the Janata Party, within two days.
Prior to this, Swamy had asked Judge O.P. Saini, why the agency was not giving him a copy of the file if it was already in the court?s records.
The file, according to Swamy, was taken by the agency two years ago. Swamy had added that these documents, containing the endorsements and signatures of P. Chidambaram, Minister of Home Affairs, prove his complicity in the 2G issue.
