Cognizant has signed a pact with Garuda Aerospace to power its drone with advanced digital capabilities. The two organisations will together bring a slew of drone-based management and monitoring services for various sectors.
For the agriculture sector, the partnership will offer intelligent water and soil management, crop sowing, among other services, while for the energy and utilities sector, it provides asset inspection, storm impact assessment and fire safety and various other services. Meanwhile, for warehouse management, the two organisations will help in inventory audit, tracking of products, video surveillance among others.
The collaboration will provide Cognizant associates the opportunity to work on purpose-driven drone projects and real-life use cases across its service lines, including analytics and internet of things (IoT).
